When nature is composing a masterpiece, humans should help this creation with due patience and tender care. In this spirit we grow the selected grapes of the Villány lanes until they mature to the flavorous wine that is worthy of the heritage of Zsigmond Teleki, our Europe-wide famous grape genetics researcher, breeder and wine-grower.

Chateau Teleki, the legendary wine fittingly brought success and recognition to the Teleki family in addition to their grape genetics research and breeding work. The family’s testimony is described below:

„For the circulation of our vintage wines of excellent quality among those of our customers who do not have larger vineyards and exercise viticulture only as part of hobby gardening, we decided to establish a modern bottling plant and merchandise our most outstanding red and white wines in an even quality under the brand name of “Chateau Teleki”. Only the supreme of our produce is bottled, and we would be happy if our bottled wines would gain ground not only with their appearance, but primarily with their quality among those of our highly respected customers, who place an emphasis on enjoying a bottle of excellent wine on exceptional occasions, and we hope that these bottled wines will make a worthy competitor to the most outstanding wines of Hungary.”
Our winery has established and remodelled the Chateau Teleki wine family in accordance with the Teleki traditions, two of the members of which, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, won a silver medal at the Brussels International Wine Contest.
